HARDSHIP: 800 benefit in Foundation’s food donation in Ogun

Citing the biting hardship in the country and with the Lenten and Ramadan fast season, Daramola Dynasty Foundation has launched a ‘Food Drive’ to support vulnerable communities in which about 800 individuals got essential food items like rice.

Delivering his speech at the occasion, Olanrewaju Daramola, founder of the Foundation, said, “This holy month of Ramadan is a time of reflection, gratitude, and giving for Muslims worldwidewe recognise the importance of this period and we’re committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families.”
According to him, “Furthermore, Christians in various parts of the world in preparation for Easter are engaged in Lenten fast. This fasting symbolizes a time to ponder on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and extend his love to their communities.

He explained: “This Food Drive by the Daramola Dynasty Foundation is focused on providing essential food supplies to individuals in the Isara community, Ogun State, regardless of religion or faith. The initiative aimed to ensure that both Muslim and Christian families so that individual families can have access to nutritious meals and necessary resources throughout this period. 

“By addressing these fundamental needs, Daramola Dynasty Foundation hopes to alleviate the burden on vulnerable populations and foster a sense of community unity and support.

“We are delighted about this Food Drive,” commented Engr. Olanrewaju Daramola. “It is our duty to serve those in need and bring hope to them during this time.”

“Engr Daramola is passionate about making a positive impact in the community. He is a philanthropist at heart and this has fueled his commitment to a series of initiatives for communities in Nigeria starting with some areas in Ogun State,” said some of the 800 beneficiaries, who expressed their appreciation for the initiative as they all received various food items.

They said by distributing food supplies to both Muslims and Christians, the foundation has alleviated hardships and fostered unity within the community and offered prayers for Olanrewaju Daramola for his philanthropic efforts in Ogun State.
